Do you really trust God? Here's how you know...

Sometimes trusting God feels like turning your back on what you were taught...

I love God with my whole heart, Reader—and I love sharing my faith. But sometimes, stepping into that calling feels… complicated.

Growing up, I watched my dad stay faithful to a job that didn’t bring him joy. He worked hard for a big electric company in Brussels, even though what he truly loved was history—especially the French Revolution. Our home was filled with books, but not freedom.

Somewhere along the way, Reader, I absorbed a belief:
Doing what you love isn’t responsible.
You honor your family by sacrificing passion.

So even now, when I share my faith or build something I love, there’s this hidden resistance—like I’m betraying my father’s sacrifices. But God is showing me: this tension is cognitive dissonance, not truth. It’s not betrayal. It’s an invitation.

God wants to free us.
Not just from sin—but from the old beliefs that quietly control us.

In this week’s podcast, “How to Let Go of Control and Trust God Fully,” I unpack how to surrender those invisible weights—and trust that God’s way is not only holy but good.

Scripture:
You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” – Isaiah 26:3

If you’ve ever felt torn between honoring your past and stepping into your calling, I hope this episode gives you courage and clarity.

When it feels like you're going in circles... Every step looks familiar...but you've changed. God is growing you in the spiral. Hi Reader, Lately, I’ve been noticing something strange at work. I recently started a new role on a new team, and yet… some of the work felt oddly familiar. Almost like I’d been here before. At first, it unsettled me, Reader. Was I stuck? Was I just repeating the same cycle again? But as I leaned in with God, I saw something deeper. I wasn’t repeating — I was being...

God is near—even when He feels silent. Hey Reader, Have you ever been in a season where God just feels… absent? I’m in a time like that right now. Life’s been full of risks, transitions, and new places I didn’t plan for. And while I’ve followed God for years, even now—He doesn’t always feel close. Growing up, I didn’t know God. And even now as a believer, it’s not always easy to stay grounded. I find myself crying out: “God, where are You?”“What’s the plan?” Sometimes I’m afraid I’ll bring...

Even in my fear and questions, God is teaching me that faith doesn't have to be flawless-it just have to be real... Not every prayer has an answer yet, but I'm still writing them down. This week’s podcast was all about walking by faith—not sight—especially when anxiety takes over. But here’s the truth behind the mic, : I didn’t record it from a mountaintop of clarity. I wrote it while staring at a whole lot of unknowns. In my heart. In my marriage. In conversations that are tender and honest...
