Trust God's Timing - Weekly Newsletter from Alexandra

Learn to wait well with God...

Hello my friend,

Have you ever felt like the waiting would never end?

Trusting God’s timing can be one of the hardest things we do as believers. It often feels like doors stay shut longer than they should, like promises are slow to unfold. Joseph in the Bible waited 13 years—thirteen years in prison for something he didn’t even do. He was accused, rejected, and forgotten… and yet, God had not forgotten him.

I’ve had seasons like that too—times where the waiting felt unbearable, confusing, even unfair. And still, looking back, I now see purpose in the pauses. Waiting isn’t punishment; it’s preparation.

So often Reader, we wrestle with expectations we didn’t even realize we had—shaped by past experiences, disappointments, or comparisons. We think life should look a certain way by now, and when it doesn’t, we struggle. I’ve been there—many times. But in every season of honesty with God, when I brought Him my frustration, He didn’t push me away. He came closer.

He whispered to my heart. He reminded me that those expectations weren’t from Him—and that He wanted to free me from the pressure I had placed on myself. And in return, He gave me something far greater: Himself. His love, His presence, His peace.

What I thought I was waiting for paled in comparison to what I actually received—more of God.

In this week’s episode of Curious for Christ, I’m diving into the topic of God’s timing and sharing three steps that can help you walk through the waiting with more confidence, clarity, and peace.

I’d love for you to tune in—and I’d love even more to hear your story, Reader. Because your story is beautiful. It’s been carefully woven by the hands of God, and it’s not over. You’re the main character, and God is still writing.

So don’t waste the waiting. There’s treasure in it.
