Want more peace, clarity and confidence?...

Seek Him first...

During the Christmas season, life can feel like a whirlwind. Whether you have a family, a business with employees and clients, or a busy personal life, there’s a lot of people and things you don’t want to forget.

I know I can easily feel pulled in different directions, not knowing where to begin or how to manage it all. It’s easy to get overwhelmed...

But here’s the good news, Reader: we don’t have to navigate this season in our own strength.

When Jesus faced busy seasons, He didn’t push harder or try to do it all on His own.

Instead, He leaned into His relationship with the Father, seeking strength and clarity from Him. He modeled what we’re called to do—prioritize the one thing that brings everything else into alignment.

Matthew 6:33 reminds us: “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

What does it look like to seek His kingdom during the holiday chaos, Reader? For me, it means letting God reign as King in my heart, mind, and relationships. It means living as His image-bearer, reflecting His love, grace, and truth to those around me. And while that can feel like a big responsibility, it all starts with small, intentional steps:

Practical Steps to Confidence and Clarity:

1. Seek to understand God’s will through scripture—and act upon it.

• Spend time in His Word, but also look for ways to live it out through your actions. Let His truth shape how you engage with others and respond to challenges.

2. Serve others with humility.

Philippians 2:7 says that Jesus "made himself nothing
by taking the very nature of a servant."

• During this season, imitate Christ; look for small, everyday opportunities to bless others—help a neighbor, offer a kind word, or encourage someone who’s struggling. Through these actions, we make God’s love tangible in the world.

3. Let go of misunderstandings, fear, and self-doubt.

• Rest in the truth that you are fully loved and valued by God. When you embrace His love, it frees you to reflect His image to the world.

This week’s podcast episode dives deeper into these principles, with a special focus on God’s heart for women, as most of my listeners are women. However, these truths apply to men as well!

It’s a powerful reminder of how precious we are in His sight and the incredible purpose He has given us to represent Him well—through both our actions and our hearts.

Let's remember that God isn’t asking for more from us this season. Instead, He’s inviting us to rest in Him, to be present, and to represent Him with love and grace in our relationships. That’s how we find peace, purpose, and joy, even in the busiest of times.

Don't forget, I’m here to walk this journey with you!

Merry Christmas, and may your season be filled with His love and light!

With love,

Disappointments feel personal. But they are not your identity... I’ve had my share of disappointments, Reader—dreams I thought were from God, plans I pursued with all my heart, only to see them collapse. And here’s what I’ve realized:What makes disappointment so heavy isn’t just the loss itself. It’s the meaning we attach to it.We tell ourselves things like:“I failed.”“I’m not good enough.”“Maybe I’ll never get it right.”Why? Because we’ve started to confuse our identity with our process.But...

"Losing my Life to Find it" (Matthew 16:25)—It's not just a Paradox This week’s episode stirred something deep in me, Reader. As I edited my conversation with Teacher and Evangelist, Gordon Ferguson, I found myself listening not just with my ears, but with my heart. [Listen to the full episode here.] We talked about aging, illness, and death—but not as punishments or things to fear. Rather, as invitations to live more fully, freely, and faithfully.Lately, I’ve felt God inviting me to let go of...

Comparison steals the moment. Love restores it. Lately , it’s felt like a bit of a roller coaster emotionally. Some days, I think maybe I just need to go back to therapy. And honestly? That might be true. I’m always working on myself—but I’m also learning to let God meet me right where I am. Because nothing is too much for Him. He doesn’t flinch at our emotions, our struggles, or even our confusion. In fact, He’s always guiding us—through it, not around it.Psalm 139 brings so much comfort to...
