Better late than Never

Showing up with grace, even when it's late...

Hi Reader,

This week’s newsletter is coming to you a little later than usual — but here I am, showing up anyway...

Life has been full, stretching, and clarifying for me, Reader. I’ve been noticing patterns in my marriage, my parenting, and my work. In my marriage, I sometimes hold back instead of letting my husband in so we can grow closer together. With my kids, I see moments where I could step up with more firm love and clearer boundaries. And at work, fear sneaks in when I’m called to step forward — questions like, If I succeed at this sale, will it take too much from my marriage? Will I still have enough time to show up for my children and be present for my family?

Maybe you’ve asked yourself similar questions, too.

Through it all, I’ve been reminded that God is present. His love meets me in the unknown, in the questions, and even in the stress. I don’t have all the answers, but I do know He is growing me — into deeper trust, stronger relationships, and a fuller identity in Christ. And I believe He is relentlessly growing you as well, Reader

For this week’s episode, I decided to revisit one of our most meaningful conversations — about women, the Bible, and understanding our identity in Him. Even if you’ve heard it before, I think it’s worth another listen as we reflect on who God says we are.

Thank you for being here with me, Reader, even when life feels like a whirlwind. I’ll see you next week with fresh encouragement — until then, may you feel God’s love guiding you in every part of your life.

With love and grace,

The world Jesus walked

Step Into the Story of Scripture... The world Jesus walked. Hi Reader, Some of us have walked with Scripture for many years. We’ve highlighted the same verses, underlined the same passages, and prayed through the familiar stories of Jesus, His followers, and the early church. And yet — sometimes we forget that these were real people living in a real world. Streets with dust beneath their feet. Homes filled with fear, hope, and prayer. A temple that stood in glory — and then fell. Political...

The wilderness is where God speaks tenderly — this is where He restores your heart. "I will lead you into the wilderness...and speak tenderly to your heart." Hosea 2:14 Have you ever felt like you’re learning the same lessons again and again, Reader? Like you have big dreams, real God-given desires, but they feel: far away, or shrinking, or maybe even slipping further out of reach? And you start asking yourself: “Why is this taking so long?” “Am I missing something?” “Should I just stop...

Being still in not failure — especially when God is the reason... "From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised." Psalm 113:3 Lately, I’ve been sitting with a lot, Reader — questions, emotions, and thoughts I didn’t expect. There were days when I felt like if this one thing doesn’t work out — it’s over. That if a deal doesn’t come through, or if breakthrough doesn’t happen soon, then maybe there’s no real hope left. I’ve had moments where I finally...
