Merry Christmas!

Finding Christ in the quiet, the waiting, and the becoming...

Hi Reader,

Today we celebrate the most unexpected and beautiful gift of all: Jesus — God with us.

Christmas reminds us that God did not enter the world through power, speed, or certainty — but through waiting. Through silence. Through trust. Through a young woman who said yes before she could see the outcome.

Jesus came quietly, in the middle of the darkest night.
He grew slowly.
And yet, He changed everything.

This year, Reader, God taught me something deeply personal through that same kind of waiting. There were moments when I prayed, “How long, Lord?” — seasons of delayed gratification, unanswered questions, and growth that wasn’t visible yet. But looking back now, I can see those moments were not empty.

They were sacred.

In the waiting, God gently revealed what was never meant to be my source. He showed me where, deep in my heart, I was still holding on to beliefs that no longer belonged. And just as He did in Bethlehem, He reminded me that His presence — not the outcome — is enough. (Something He patiently reminds me of often, because I tend to forget.)

Jesus didn’t rush His purpose.
He trusted the Father.
And He met the world with grace.

That truth has shaped me this year in ways I never expected. It went deeper than before. Waiting didn’t delay my life — it deepened it. God became my peace, my security, my source, my everything.

Today, Reader, as we celebrate the birth of Christ, I invite you to reflect honestly on this question:

Has your faith grown this year?

Not with judgment — but with honesty. It’s good to know where we are, what we valued, and where God may be inviting us to redirect our steps in 2026, Reader. To look at our lives through God’s eyes, to favor what He favors — because that alone will last forever. That alone is where life to the full is found, even if it doesn’t feel that way at first.

In that spirit, this week’s Curious for Christ episode is a replay of our most listened-to conversation:
“Struggling to Trust God in Gender Roles.”

It’s a reminder that when our identity is rooted in Christ, we can trust Him — even in seasons of waiting, surrender, and growth.

Merry Christmas, Reader.
May you experience the nearness of Jesus today — right where you are.

With love,

Other times, it’s something we practice — something we...

The world Jesus walked

Step Into the Story of Scripture... The world Jesus walked. Hi Reader, Some of us have walked with Scripture for many years. We’ve highlighted the same verses, underlined the same passages, and prayed through the familiar stories of Jesus, His followers, and the early church. And yet — sometimes we forget that these were real people living in a real world. Streets with dust beneath their feet. Homes filled with fear, hope, and prayer. A temple that stood in glory — and then fell. Political...
