Merry Christmas from Curious for Christ

How telling God’s story strengthens your own...

Lately, in the middle of all the work, appointments, and unexpected conversations that fill my days, I’ve become more aware of something deeper happening beneath the surface:
God keeps placing me in divine appointments.

Moments I didn’t plan.
People I didn’t expect to meet.
Situations that feel too perfectly aligned to be coincidence.

And yet—even when I know God is opening a door, it still isn’t always easy to share my faith in the moment. Sometimes I hesitate, sometimes I wonder if it’s the right time, and sometimes I simply get shy.

This is actually one of the reasons I started Curious for Christ.
The podcast became, for me, like a small open door—a gentle invitation card—where I could share God’s stories, the Gospel, and the things I’m learning in a way that feels natural and authentic.

But here is what has surprised me the most:

Every time I share my faith on the podcast, my own faith grows deeper.

There is power in saying out loud,
“This is what I believe.”
Every episode strengthens my conviction and reminds me again and again:
We grow when we participate in Jesus’ mission.

Sharing our faith isn’t just evangelism.
It’s discipleship.
It’s formation.
It’s healing.
It’s alignment with God’s heart.

And that’s exactly what this week’s conversation with Greg Stier, CEO of Dare 2 Share Ministries, is all about—how sharing the Gospel can actually relieve anxiety, deepen confidence, and draw us closer to Jesus.

🌟 A Christmas Reflection

As we step into this season, I want to leave you with a picture that has been resting on my heart:

Jesus came into the world as a tiny, vulnerable baby
—in the dark of night,
—in a forgotten town,
—in a stable that smelled like animals,
—with no audience except Mary, Joseph, and heaven’s angels.

The Gospel of Luke tells us:

“And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths and laid Him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.”
(Luke 2:7)

No grandeur.
No spotlight.
No comfort.

And yet that child—born in humility—became the greatest gift ever given to humanity.

This is how God works.
He enters the quiet places.
He moves in the low places.
He brings glory out of what feels small and ordinary.

So if you find yourself in a humble season…
If your circumstances feel “not enough”…
If you feel overlooked or stretched thin…

Let this truth comfort you:

You are standing in the kind of place where God loves to work.
You are not too low— you are right where redemption grows.

And in those places, sharing your faith—giving away the wonder and truth you hold—does something miraculous.
It lights up the world around you and it lights up your own heart.

So this week, share your faith with someone.
Share your wonder.
Share your hope.
Share the gift of Jesus.

I always love hearing from you —
What does the gift of Jesus mean to you personally this Christmas?
Just hit reply and tell me. I really do read every message.

Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving Morning Encouragement From My Heart to Yours... Good morning, Reader — and Happy Thanksgiving. Before the day begins, before the table fills and the house gets loud, I wanted to send you a little encouragement to carry with you into this holiday. Lately, God has been teaching me that thanksgiving doesn’t always grow in perfect seasons… it often grows in the ones that challenge us the most. Sometimes gratitude feels natural. Other times, it’s something we practice — something we...

The world Jesus walked

Step Into the Story of Scripture... The world Jesus walked. Hi Reader, Some of us have walked with Scripture for many years. We’ve highlighted the same verses, underlined the same passages, and prayed through the familiar stories of Jesus, His followers, and the early church. And yet — sometimes we forget that these were real people living in a real world. Streets with dust beneath their feet. Homes filled with fear, hope, and prayer. A temple that stood in glory — and then fell. Political...

The wilderness is where God speaks tenderly — this is where He restores your heart. "I will lead you into the wilderness...and speak tenderly to your heart." Hosea 2:14 Have you ever felt like you’re learning the same lessons again and again, Reader? Like you have big dreams, real God-given desires, but they feel: far away, or shrinking, or maybe even slipping further out of reach? And you start asking yourself: “Why is this taking so long?” “Am I missing something?” “Should I just stop...
