Regain your Peace!

It is all about abiding over striving...

Have you ever felt like you’re doing all the right things but still feel stuck, pushing forward yet doubting if you’re on the right path? I’ve been there. I’ve had moments where I take the first step, hoping to find clarity, only to feel exhausted and disconnected—disconnected from God’s love, from peace, from joy.

But then Reader, I stop, and it hits me: it all starts with love—His love. Without that foundation, everything becomes striving. It’s like trying to build a house without realizing you’ve left behind the cornerstone. When I fall into old patterns of performance (whatever that looks like for you), I forget that God’s love isn’t something I have to earn. It’s freely given, always present, waiting for me to return.

When I remember this Reader, everything changes. In His love, there’s no shame, no need to strive—only rest. That’s where real transformation begins.

One tool that has helped me rediscover His love is biblical meditation. Unlike the kind of meditation focused on emptying your mind, biblical meditation is about filling your heart with God’s truth. It’s not about silencing every thought—it’s about directing your thoughts and emotions toward God, letting His Word speak into your struggles and fears.

This week on the Curious for Christ podcast, my guest Virginia Lefler shares the six steps of biblical meditation. They are so helpful especially if you find yourself distracted. If your mind wanders, the steps make it easy to track where you left off so you can refocus without feeling overwhelmed and find resolution.

Biblical meditation is not about perfectly connecting right away—it’s about giving yourself space to let God meet you where you are. When we abide in Him, instead of striving on our own, we step off the exhausting treadmill of performance and rediscover the joy and peace we were created to live in.

And that is how you have peace—not by striving, but by abiding.

If you are feeling overwhelmed, Reader, and longing for confidence, clarity and peace as you fully trust in God's plan for your life, I'd love to help. Book a Discovery Call with me to see if having a spiritual mentor might be your next step.

This is my passion—to meet you where you are and help you find your way with God. After all, a cord of three strands is not easily broken (Ecclesiastes 4:12). When you partner with God and a mentor to journey alongside you, there is incredible power, and true transformation can take place.

Remember, God is ready to meet you where you are, but you have to respond and take the next step toward Him. Peace and clarity come when you trust Him and abide in His love.

With love and peace,

We live in such a time as this... In today's world, it’s easy to let our time, focus, and energy slip away—like the world is conspiring to steal them. I’ve been rethinking how I...

When money becomes your identity... A sense of lack in general. We were created to have a relationship with God, where He is at the center of it all. It’s in our DNA. When He isn’t, we feel it—whether through fear, worry, or striving for things that...
