Stop right here.

Being still in not failure — especially when God is the reason...

Lately, I’ve been sitting with a lot, Reader — questions, emotions, and thoughts I didn’t expect.

There were days when I felt like if this one thing doesn’t work out — it’s over.

That if a deal doesn’t come through, or if breakthrough doesn’t happen soon, then maybe there’s no real hope left.

I’ve had moments where I finally understood what it feels like to lose all sense of direction… to wonder if God still sees me, if He still has a plan, or if maybe I’ve just missed it.

And yet — even there — God has been quietly meeting me. And He is not far from you either, Reader

Not in loud victories or quick fixes, but in the slowing down.

In the pause.

In the courage to sit with what hurts instead of running from it.

David once said, “My sins are always before me.” (Psalm 51:3) - Do you ever feel like the challenges never seem to end, Reader?

And Hannah wept year after year, waiting for her prayer to be answered.

Job lost everything and still whispered, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him.”

These stories remind me that faith doesn’t erase pain — it holds it.

And maybe that’s where God is healing me and you right now, Reader: not in escape, but in presence.

When I let myself feel — really feel — I notice my body starting to release what it’s held for years. The tension softens. The air feels lighter. And I remember that maybe, just maybe, slowing down isn’t failure at all… it’s obedience.

And all my emotions and feelings are not even the full reality, but what they appear to be based on what I believe to be true...

So, for this season, I’m taking that step of faith — to walk forward with more truth, more alignment, and less striving.

Curious for Christ will now be every other week until the end of the year — giving space for rest, reflection, and for God to move in the quiet places.

If you’ve been feeling weary, behind, or like there’s no way forward — this week’s episode is for you:

You Are Not Failing When God Is Asking You to Slow Down

Maybe slowing down is exactly where God wants to meet you too, Reader.

With love and hope,

Finding Christ in the quiet, the waiting, and the becoming... Hi Reader, Today we celebrate the most unexpected and beautiful gift of all: Jesus — God with us. Christmas reminds us that God did not enter the world through power, speed, or certainty — but through waiting. Through silence. Through trust. Through a young woman who said yes before she could see the outcome. Jesus came quietly, in the middle of the darkest night. He grew slowly. And yet, He changed everything. This year, Reader, God...

How telling God’s story strengthens your own... A tiny baby in a humble manger… the greatest gift ever given. Lately, in the middle of all the work, appointments, and unexpected conversations that fill my days, I’ve become more aware of something deeper happening beneath the surface:God keeps placing me in divine appointments. Moments I didn’t plan. People I didn’t expect to meet. Situations that feel too perfectly aligned to be coincidence. And yet—even when I know God is opening a door, it...

Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving Morning Encouragement From My Heart to Yours... Good morning, Reader — and Happy Thanksgiving. Before the day begins, before the table fills and the house gets loud, I wanted to send you a little encouragement to carry with you into this holiday. Lately, God has been teaching me that thanksgiving doesn’t always grow in perfect seasons… it often grows in the ones that challenge us the most. Sometimes gratitude feels natural. Other times, it’s something we practice — something we...
