What did you read today in the Bible?

Spiritual maturity is a daily walk...

Just recently, I had a conversation that stayed with me, Reader.

A woman I work with—successful, driven, and very professional—shared how overwhelmed she felt by the ups and downs of the market. As I listened, I quietly responded, “I trust God.”

It wasn’t a statement to impress her. It was more of a declaration to myself. It was reminder that I refuse to let anxiety or fear write the story. God brought me here, and I’m walking with Him—not racing ahead (been there), not trying to control it all (been there too). Just walking.

And her response surprised me.

She began telling me about her childhood in church, Sunday school, and catechism. Then she added, “But you know, the responsibilities are still real—the bills, the work, the pressure.”

And she’s right... Yet God knows all of that...

But what struck me deeper was the truth beneath her words: it’s hard for her to trust God with her life today. In this season, with these pressures, and this level of uncertainty.

It reminded me that walking with God is a daily thing.

Truth is, what we did five years ago spiritually doesn’t sustain us today, Reader.

We change. Life changes. Our challenges change. And we need a fresh Word from Him daily.

It’s a relationship—like a marriage.

Imagine only checking in with your spouse occasionally, or only listening to them early in your marriage and never again.

That’s not real intimacy.

We have to let God in. And His Word helps us do that. But only if we let it. And if we keep letting it. Because over time, it doesn't just inform us—it transforms us

This week’s episode on Curious for Christ:

“5 Life-Changing Ways the Bible Transforms and Heals Your Heart”

God’s Word is not a dusty book of the past—it’s alive, active, and deeply relevant to what you’re walking through today.

Sometimes it comforts.

Sometimes it corrects.

Sometimes it gives language to things we can’t even explain.

Always—it draws us back to God’s heart.

And in a world that demands we hustle harder, Scripture invites us to rest, trust, and be made new.

As Romans 12:2 says, “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

Tap here to listen now—and be inspired to fall in love with God’s Word again.

Learn how to fight the lies, grow spiritual fruit, and start trusting Him in your everyday life.

You don't have to figure everything out today, Reader. Just open the Word, and let God speak.

He promises that His Word will never return void (Isaiah 55:11).

With love and grace,
