Do you have peace when surrounded by chaos?

Be still...

Lately, life feels like a blur of changes. My daughter is on the brink of middle school, and I’m knee-deep in high school applications for my son. We’re rethinking our living situation and sorting out our finances, examining every choice to prepare as best as we can for the years ahead.

In the middle of it all, there’s this quiet restlessness, a constant search for answers. Can you relate, Reader? Yet, I know these things take time. It is all a process...

But how do I find rest right here, in the in-between?

How do I pause long enough to celebrate each piece of life that truly matters?

I want to savor the milestones—the fact that my son is growing, that he’ll be heading to high school next year, and that I have the privilege of these moments with him. I want to make sure we’re soaking up these days, not just rushing toward the next.

So join me in this week’s Podcast Episode as we discuss what it means to find rest in God’s delight. If you’re feeling burnt out or searching for a deeper purpose, consider the Biblical principle of Sabbath. It’s a rhythm for life that brings restoration, true rest, and the kind of joy that reminds us what it means to simply be.

It’s also God’s way of multiplying life—to live more by doing less. But it doesn’t happen by accident; it requires intention, Reader.

As the saying goes, “If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.” With Sabbath rest, God invites us to be intentional about creating space to recharge, refocus, and recognize His blessings in our lives. This purposeful pause isn’t about just slowing down; it’s about trusting that God can accomplish more with our surrendered time than we ever could by filling every moment ourselves.

I’ll leave you with this beautiful scripture from Matthew 11:28-30: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”

God desires wholeness and rest for each of us. He understands, and I’m here to support you in seeking and finding Him.

If you haven’t joined my Facebook group yet, I invite you to be part of our community! Share when you’ll set aside time this week to pause, cease work, and reflect on God’s invitation to true rest. I'd like to know how you plan to be in God's presence-whether it is through prayer, time in nature, or simply being still (or all 3!). For me, spending time by the beach, surrounded by His creation helps me enter His rest. Let’s support each other in honoring this gift...

With much love, rest in Him, and let go of your worries until next time.

Blessings,
